Roofs / HVAC Passes by majority vote of the members.
- It is Widely expected that there may be a
Special Assessment for Roof Repairs, Although none has yet been announced
by the Board.
- New TV Cabling is underway at The Keys. 260
Channels, High Speed Internet Access, Dedicated Keys TV Channel are some
of the benefits.
- New Board members elected: Eugene Glen,
Robert O'Brien, and Linda Ramsey.
- 17th Annual Meeting and Election for the
Keys Board of Directors July 5th, 2000 7pm
- 3 seats open on the Board. COME TO THE
MEETING. This is the MOST important meeting of year!
- Candidates are: Linda Ramsey, Alan Pedreira,
Eugene Glen and Robert O'Brien
- Don't show up late or you won't be
able to vote!!!!

- Sue DeCarlo receives KCOA Volunteer of the

replaced.
- Landscaping Project for 450 and 460
Buildings now complete
- Property Attendant Daniel Byrne leaves The
Keys.

DeCarlo resigns
her post as President of the Board.

- Karl Lofthouse appointed as
new President of Board.
- Residents report a
Car theft and Vandalism in Garage.
- A proposal was made by The
General Manager, Richard Means, to restrict residents
from entering building lobbies for the purposes of
posting flyers.
- The Keys Roofing project scheduled to begin
in 2001 over 3 years.
- Boilers Scheduled to be replaced soon.
- Report from COMMAIR indicates
building Heating and AC systems in need of service.
- New Disciplinary Committee
formed. Robert Obrien Chairman
- Sue Decarlo indicates that
the new CC&Rs will "infringe upon an Owner's
right to rent his or her unit".
- Board calls for another vote
on CC&Rs in July 1999.
- New CC&R committee now
being formed. Apply at office,
- "Town Meeting"
format requested for Future Board Meetings
- Huge public outcry in
opposition to new landscape project.
- Property Attendant, Farooq,
recently dismissed.
- Board approves new 401k plan
for Keys Employees.
- 3.3% budget increase for Keys
Salaries.
- Heating and Air Conditioning
not working in many buildings. Filters not
changed for over 1 year.
- Residents complaining about
15 minute wait for Hot Water.
- 320 Elevator Out of Service
for 2 weeks during Christmas.
- Residents Complain about
degraded Maintenance.
- Richard Means responds to
Resident's Complaints with Flyer.

Many Owners and Residents
are concerned about upcoming plans for further tree removal.
Loud protests were voiced
during the first phase of the project, yet, over 25 trees were
removed.
Owners are calling for a
halt to any further tree removal and a re-examination of the
current landscape project.
